Young Referees are offered full support via a sub committee and engage in Referee Training and Development through their own meetings and a supportive structure. Anyone wishing to become a Referee or join our society should contact Albert Astbury.

Full affiliation to the Referees' Association is included in the annual subscription to our society and associate membership is available to those referees and others who are already affiliated through another society, or who have no need of the insurance cover and other facilities.

One of the main requests for Keith were to present the Annual Awards.

Winner of the Fred Wiltshire Trophy was Adam Hillier. He started refereeing at 14 years of age after attending a training course at Hythe. After qualification Adam went in Refereeing in Tyro League. Once he reached 16 years he began refereeing adult football and assisting on the Wessex lines. In his first season he was promoted to Level 7 went to level 6

Now you might expect to see Richard or Aaron Moody's name appear on this website, but it was Jan who was to collect the Ladies Trophy. Aaron's mum has continually handled all the Referee Kit Shop sales whilst Aaron has been running around many Football Fields. One of the many talents Jan has acquired is assessing shirt, shorts and sock size requirements over the phone. A big thanks goes out to Jan on behalf of all our members.
