A BOWLING STAR EMERGES AT THE SKITTLES EVENING

held at the

OLD BOWLING GREEN

An excellent turnout of Members, Partners and guests witnessed an amazing display of skittles from Keith Arnold's wife Val.

Having scored only 6 (six) in the first round Val went on to knock all the skittles down in the second round with two balls and scored another 6 with the remaining one.

The rest of participants bowed their heads in shame. The men did try their very best to catch Val up but to no avail. The Men's award went to Gary (pictured collecting his award on the left).

But the Eastleigh & District Referee Society always create an excellent Skittles event for the children too and the prize for the best Young Player went to Jordan.

Many of the Members & Guests bring their children along to make it a good family occasion.

Albert was enthusiastic as ever with many of his colleagues cheering him on, but our President couldn't win the Killer Competition.

This challenging event was eventually won by Terry Windibank
the Chairman of the City of Southampton Sunday Football League

The Spirit Bottle competition was also a very competitive event; heavily contested by the likes of Albert, Colin & John. However, (holding his head close to his prize) the alcohol was eventually won by your webmaster Robin.

On behalf of the society thank you to all attendees for making this evening a very enjoyable event.

As always these events couldn't take place without the continued commitment & organisation by Malcolm and his wife Sandra. A special thanks goes to you both.
